Lake Kaniere Triathlon
The Lake Kaniere Scenic Triathlon, in its 39th year includes a kayak triathlon, swim triathlon, long distance swim, duathlon, run, walk, junior swim triathlon and a junior duathlon.

Hokitika Classic Surf Competition
The annual Hokitika Classic, a true backyard surf competition. Kicking off first thing Saturday morning. A $20 entry fee will go towards entertainment and camping.
