LEGENDARY COASTERS COMPETITION 2025 TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Eligibility
   The prize draw is open to all individuals aged 18 years or older, residing in New Zealand, except employees, agents, or representatives of Destination Hokitika and any affiliated businesses. Only one entry per email address is allowed unless otherwise specified by the organiser.
2. Competition Period
   The competition opens on 27th June 2025 and closes at 11:59 PM on 31st July 2025. Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.
3. How to Enter
   To enter the prize draw, participants must submit their entry as per the instructions outlined on the competition entry page. A valid email address must be provided to enter. Only one entry per email address will be considered unless stated otherwise by the organiser.
4. Prize
   There are six (6) prizes available to win, each consisting of a lavish weekend escape in Hokitika. Each prize may include accommodation, meals, and other associated prizes provided by participating Hokitika businesses (the “Prize Providers”). The exact details of the prize will vary, and participants should refer to individual Prize Providers for specific terms and conditions attached to their prize.
5. Prize Draw
   The prize draw will take place under police supervision after the competition closes on 31st July 2025. The winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received during the competition period.
6. Winner Notification
   Winners will be notified by email or phone no later than 14th August 2025. If a winner does not respond within 14 days of being contacted, the organiser reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
7. Prize Collection and Booking
   Winners must contact the relevant Prize Provider directly to confirm the terms and conditions of their prize, and to make any necessary bookings (if applicable). The organiser (Destination Hokitika) takes no responsibility for the management or booking of the prize, and all arrangements should be made with the Prize Provider.
8. Prize Redistribution
   If the organiser is unable to contact a prize winner within three (3) months of the first attempt, the organiser reserves the right to redistribute the prize as they see fit.
9. Exclusions and Limitation of Liability
   Destination Hokitika accepts no responsibility for the prizes offered by the individual Prize Providers. The individual Prize Providers may have their own terms and conditions, which winners must adhere to. Destination Hokitika takes no responsibility for any issues that may arise with the prize itself, including but not limited to cancellations, availability, or alterations.
10. Publicity
    By entering the competition, winners agree to participate in any reasonable publicity or promotion related to the prize draw, which may include the use of their name, image, and/or likeness in any related marketing materials.  However Destination Hokitika will contact the prize winner prior to any publicity being organised to seek further permission to do so.
11. Data Protection
    By entering, participants agree that their personal data will be used solely for the purposes of administering the competition and may also be used to send participants the Destination Hokitika monthly e-newsletter, The Cool Little Town News. Participants may unsubscribe from this newsletter at any time by following the unsubscribe link in the email.
12. General Terms

• The organiser (Destination Hokitika) reserves the right to amend, modify, or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice.
• The organiser’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
• These terms and conditions are subject to change without notice and will be updated on the official competition page.
