Westland A & P Show is one of the highlights for locals in Hokitika and is a must see event for visitors alike.  Agricultural & Pastoral Shows are a tradition in New Zealand where members of the rural community come together to compete in a multitude of categories including equestrian, farm animals, baking, arts & crafts & garden produce.  The show also has a lot of fun events for families & children with sideshows, food & drink on offer too.
