The full suite of Vivaldi’s popular Classical Masterpiece “The Four Seasons” is scheduled for a live, candlelit performance by the Cathy Irons String Quartet at The Lyric Theatre
This world-renowned, all female quartet comprises:
Cathy Irons – first violin
Amandine Combe-Guerin – second violin
Bethan Lewis – viola
Sophie Tanner – cello
The second half of the programme will feature “The American” by the popular romantic era composer Dvorak. This work is rarely performed in public but is popular among avid radio listeners to networks like RNZ’s Concert FM
