Come along to Hokitika’s Regent Theatre to participate in the West Coast Book Launch with Chris Long – “The Boy from Gorge River”.
Chris will give an illustrated talk about his best selling book which tells of his extraordinary life growing up at Gorge River, and of his world wide adventures since from the Arctic to the
Antarctic.
In a rare opportunity, after the talk for the Q&A Chris will be joined by his family: father, Robert ‘Beansprout’, mother, Catherine and sister, Robin. You will have a chance to buy
Chris’s and his folks’ books and have them signed by the family during the social time afterwards. If you already have their books, you are welcome to bring them along for
signing.
Supper is included in the ticket price and there will be a cash bar for those who get thirsty seeing all that Chris has achieved. There will be a raffle with first prize being signed copies of all three books: The Boy From Gorge Rover; Life on Gorge River; and Wife on Gorge River. So bring your EFTPOS cards and a pocket of gold coins.
