Maritime New Zealand has reserved an area near Hans Bay for this high-speed power boating regatta. The Hans Bay boat ramps and on-water recreation areas will be closed during the above period, and an area of lake between Canoe Cove and Rose Creek, as shown on a sign at the Sunny Bight ramp during the event.
