Maritime New Zealand has reserved an area near Hans Bay for this power boating club race-training day. The Hans Bay boat ramps will be closed during the above period, and an area of lake between Canoe Cove and Rose Creek, as shown on a sign at the Sunny Bight ramp during the event.
