Love Hokitika’s annual Picnic at the Beach Sunday 10th of December starting at 2pm. Bring a picnic blanket or relax on our bean bags and listen to the live local lineup of entertainment starting the day is the Poutini Hapouri Kapa Haka followed by local Vince & Corrina, then Kelvin Taylor– there may even be some guest appearances to watch out for. Finishing the day with the not to be missed sounds of Andy Gilmore.

Santa will be calling in to see who is naughty or nice and entertaining the kids with a lolly scramble. ! We have Food stalls, Face Painting, Rock Painting plus the Bouncy Castle to entertain the whole family.

To get you all excited we will have a Colour and Win available in selected shops and through your school. Enter as many times as you like with all the colours of Christmas and bring them along to the Picnic at the Beach – There are Lots of spot prizes to give away including Love Hokitika dollars valued at $500
