Cool Idea | Go Boating

Go fast or slow. Your choice!

  • Power Boating - If high octane is your thing, then head to Lake Kaniere. Its got a boat launch, specific boating areas, and a picnic area and DoC camping ground.
  • Sailing - If you fancy yourself as more of a sailor, try out Lake Mahinapua. The Lake Mahinapua Aquatic Club has clubrooms on site and offers sail training to members and racing each Sunday afternoon of the season (Feb-May).
