SUMMARY:Paul Ego: Stick Comedy Tour - Hokitika Regent Theatre
DESCRIPTION:Paul Ego ‘STICK’ – NZ Tour 2026 \nIt’s taken 30 years of performing comedy for PAUL EGO to get off his butt and do a solo NZ tour\, so this is both very exciting and long overdue! \nWell known for his many years as Team Captain on the TV show 7DAYS\, Paul has also been part of award winning Breakfast Radio shows for both More FM and The Rock. \nHowever\, his crowning achievement now seems to be voicing “Stickman”\, for PAK’nSAVE – something he happily admits is “the best job he’s ever had. \nSTICK\, is your chance to see “NZ’s” Top Professional Comedian PAUL EGO\, live onstage\, delivering maximum laughs as he talks stickability\, sticky situations and Stick-Men. \n“Ego is undeniably the Master of Improv\, his spells of banter with the audience showcasing his razor-sharp wit” (Yahoo Entertainment) \n“Paul Ego is a really funny man. A powerful performance by NZ;s top professional comedian and one of the highlights of my comedy festival” (Theatreview) \n“Paul Ego has proved to be 7DAYS quickest wit. He really should have his own fanclub” (NZ Herald)

SUMMARY:A Line in the Sandstone
DESCRIPTION:A Line in the Sandstone is a new grassroots film that follows a collaboration between activists and highliners to traverse a highline set across a canyon deep in the wilderness of the Denniston Plateau. \nUnder Fast-track\, the treasured Denniston Plateau could be torn apart for coal mining – a unique landscape shaped over millions of years reduced to a wasteland in less than a generation. \nA Line in the Sandstone showcases a bold\, suspended act of resistance to demonstrate what is at stake and what it means to stand in defence of it. \nThe screening will include the short documentary film Save Denniston\, and Q&A
