DESCRIPTION:Rosina & The Weavers are a tight-knit group from the southern reaches of Tāmaki Makaurau\, Auckland.  Following on from their self-titled EP (2022)\, they are embarking on an eight-show tour to celebrate the imminent release of their album: Hitching the Starlight Highway. \nTheir quiver of new material reveals a developing classic rock sound\, combined with forays into psychedelia and smatterings of catchy groove.  While Rosina’s sharp songwriting is predominantly influenced by folk traditions\, it is masterfully balanced by The Weavers who possess musical backgrounds as vast as they are varied. \nIt is with much excitement that this band looks forward to their performances for the people of ~ Te Wai Pounamu ~ The South Island! \nDoors open 7pm\, Show at 7.30pm. \nTickets $15.
